The team needs to run…
Running is easy – just get out of the door and start running. If done in pairs, it can also be quite competitive and fun, so it occupies a large amount of our training schedule.
So, we’ve been running a lot in the last few weeks… early mornings, late evenings and our lung capacity is growing towards infinity… [well, slight exaggeration there, but you get the point].
Anyway, here’s a little summary of what we’ve been up to… running-wise…
Week 1: (8.68km, 8.24km, 17.49km), total distance: 34.59km
Week 2: (9.02km, 8.72km, 4.5km, 21km), total distance: 43.24km
Week 3: (8.21km, 11.02km, 18.39km, 3.8km), total distance: 41.42km
Currently we are in week 4: (22.44km, 6.07km)
Our short runs are normally tempo runs or hill runs, and runs greater than about 12km we take pretty leisurly… around 6 min/km.
